We are still waiting for final construction documents so that we can begin bidding, so we’re still unsure of what the overall cost will be.  We don’t have secrets, so as more info comes in, we’ll pass it along.

However, while it remains unclear what our total cost will be, it’s becoming increasingly clear that we still have to raise lots more money.  Please continue praying about how God is leading you to give, and respond with obedience and generosity.

We’re hoping/expecting that we’ll get to do the full-scope of the project that’s reflected in these drawings, so please keep praying for the fundraising to go well, and seeking the Lord about how you can give.

Tentative, tentative, tentative!  But…

• Pricing, 8/23–9/3
• Evaluate Price/Finalize Scope, 9/6–9/10
• Construction Document, 9/13–10/1
• Bidding/Permitting, 10/4–10/15
• Construction Phase, ???

This is uber tentative…but suffice to say, it’s looking more like November than October.

Please continue seeking the Lord about how He would have you to give.  We have significant financial hurdles to get over…but as He leads, and as we listen, I know we’ll get there!

Keep in mind that this is a construction zone, and we have some demo planned for thursday. So, if you bring along your kiddos, make sure you can keep them under close surveillance…we certainly don’t want any boo-boos!

Well, the wait is over! We’re married!  Here is the quick rundown:

• 713 Wm. Blount Dr. Maryville, TN 37801
• Formerly known as, “Jump Zone”
• About 12k square feet (after renovations)
• Capacity, about 400 people (kids and adults)
• 2.3 acres.

This is a GREAT location, in THE major growth area in our town!  Up until this point, we’ve assumed that ownership wouldn’t be an option for us, but God had better plans!  We now own the neighboring land, and we’ve signed a two-year lease-purchase agreement for the building.

Amazingly, this is both the best, and the most affordable option we’ve had on the table…and the only one involving ownership.  Praise God!

Please continue to pray, share, and give.  We still have some financial hurdles to get over.  There are significant renovation/build-out costs in front of us, as well as the upcoming purchase of the building, which will require a big down-payment.  However, one thing is certain, if we are faithful there will be enough.

God has once again been trustworthy, and now all of the closed doors along the way have been revealed to be blessings from Him.

We’ll have some initial drawings to share with you very soon, and as more details come in, we’ll be sharing them here.  We expect to move in either October or November, so this is happening fast!

That’s what mom always said… And for the past few months, there hasn’t been much in the nice category for our building search.

• The door has closed on the opportunity to lease the space behind Hastings.
• We got pretty far in the negotiation process for another space, but that door closed too.
• We’ve visited a few other buildings with our architect and… various door-closing factors popped up.
• We’re currently evaluating and researching two locations, and we hear the distinct sound of a creaking door. Door opening or closing? The direction of door movement remains to be seen.

But it hasn’t been all bad news! Your commitment to this process has remained steadfast.

• You continue to pray for our MOVE! God really does know where we’ll have church next. This process may have outlasted our expectations, but not His.
• You continue to share the word with your friends! More and more people know we’re moving and let us know about vacant space.
• You continue to give. We have raised almost $86,000!
• You continue to think of creative ways to help:
  • The few LifeGroups got together to host a Yard Sale and raised nearly $900.
  • Jim donated a handcrafted coaster car that we’re currently raffling. You can get a closer look at the car & buy raffle tickets on Sundays at the Vineyard!
  • Darold is taking pledges & is running 5k & 10k races to raise money for our MOVE and The Box.

So… great job! Please keep praying, sharing and giving. We believe that as we pray and seek God, He will reveal his wisdom to us. And keep sharing the story. The more people that know about this, the better. You never know who will want to get involved or who will know about our next building. And keep giving. The more money we raise, the more options we’ll have. Thanks.
